Simplifying the hiring pipeline for hiring teams
A hiring pipeline allows for better visibility on hiring teams; has there been a scheduled interview with this candidate? How long ago? Who on the team is speaking with them? Which platform was used to communicate with them? There are many important aspects to the pipeline and Interview Insights (prev. Chatkick) created a hiring intelligence tool to mitigate any miscommunications. I collaborated closely with the CEO and engineers to create a more streamlined process for hiring teams to keep track of the candidate's progress within a position.

The breakdown of the app feature was: within an interview plan, there are stages that a candidate must go through. Within those stages are candidates and questions that are typically asked. For example, in stage one, this can include very brief, introductory questions like "Can you tell me more about yourself?" In stage two, this can include more specific questions related to a role, such as, "Can you go through your design process?"
One of the biggest feature that customers wanted implemented was the ability to see the scheduled interviews status of the candidate. Having this feature gives better insight and overview of which candidates have already been reached out to, especially if there are multiple team members within the hiring team.

One of the biggest challenges for this interface was how to switch between the pipeline and position. We discussed having both pages on the sidebar, but the flow seemed unnecessary. After multiple iterations working around the possibility of how to structure the page, the solution was to include a toggle between pipeline and position within a certain position. This way, the user is easily able to view the hiring pipeline of a certain position, as well as have the ability to edit details of the position accordingly.
